The Forest Of Venice Pavilion
Forest Of Venice Pavilion- created for the Biennale
As part of the Architecture, Biennale 2016 this Forest Of Venice was created. The Swedish exhibition, “The Forests of Venice,” has been selected as a Collateral Event for the 2016 Venice Biennale. Initiated by Kjellander Sjöberg and Folkhem; and curated by Jan Åman. This wooden pavilion was constructed in tribute to the 10 million trees used to build the city’s foundations.
The Forests of Venice pavilion stands alongside a 19th-century greenhouse, between the Giardini and Arsenale.
The display is located in the green area at The greenhouse and Cafe, pictured below.
