If you like Absinth/Absinthe, this is your spot. We happened by it while ambling through town and decided to stop in. We didn’t have an itinerary for our 2 days in Hamburg, it was a spur of the moment plan, and we decided to wing it. I’d say we found quite a few great spots considering we had done no research.
This place is dark and moody as any good absinthe bar should be. The green glow and ambient music combine to create a great atmosphere inside this bar. You can sit and watch the hectic coming and going of the masses on the street, and people watch till your heart’s content.
They have quite a selection of different absinthes for you to choose from which is pretty nice. Often you find one or two on a menu.
Definitely worth seeking out if you are planning a visit to Hamburg.
